@Chap, I misread that sign to say 'no new shoes', I'm finding messages where there are none!

kinda want a dyson v11 absolute pro. the v6 has been great but after 3-4years of service, i think it needs an upgrade. nobody likes chores but i gotta admit this v11 makes me wanna do it more..

I sold a large hip hop collection for 3 figures so am happy to have upgrade my hifi system. The only things other than that I'd like
Got any tips on selling a vinyl collection? I don't collect music much anymore and probably have around 1500 vinyl records and 1500 cd's. I haven't set foot in a record store in years so i'm not sure what the going rate is. Do record stores tend to fleece sellers? What can I realistically expect?

@gaseousclay like everything, condition and iteration (pressing?) is all. If you haven't heard of this site, it's a great place to start getting an idea of value. always stick with the median value, you won't go far wrong.

Once you've got an idea of a few general prices it's worth approaching a reputable dealer. Some will do a home visit to give a valuation. With collections, my advice is to sell it all in one go. Cherry picking will leave you with some stuff that you'll be stuck with.
PM me and I can give you more info/advice

Thanks. I figured as much regarding condition and pressing. The only store in town that could likely buy my stuff lock, stock and barrel is an independent chain, but even then I keep expecting them to offer me pennies on the dollar. Guess I won't know til I ask.

If you've mostly got hard floors, I'd be inclined to look at a Bissell Crosswave. They're a wet and dry vacuum / mop, so not necessarily a direct replacement for the Dyson.

sadly not. only old school slate tiles and carpets.. but then again, if i had hard wood floors, i'm still a sucker for dyson products..

Picked up mine in Gosport, an IHSH 33 T with pocket snaps pimped with GAH.
