As a big fan of Darn Tough socks, I can't help but ask (and re-ignite a relatively controverse topic that has probably been discussed many times before) if anyone would recommend these over Darn Tough socks in terms of durability, comfort and overall quality.

@cityofdelusion I'm afraid Giles has never owned Darn Tough socks, so we can't compare.  All I know that he's really hard on socks and wears them out very quickly, these Chup socks with Cordura are the only ones that last on him, and they do last extremely well.

These are nice. Definitely not as coarse or heavy as I expected… On the other hand you could become quite the muscular man if you tried stretching them half an hour a day...

They're quite refined as well...

Soft, breathable and they stay up for me. Dunno answer to last question…

Thanks G. Do you have any issues getting them over your heel? When putting them on? Do they stretch?

No issues getting the over my ankle.  They stretch to get them on, but they do not lose shape with wear….I have some that are maybe 9 months old and they look almost identical to a pair I picked up a month ago.

I read the last update and was confused as to why I haven’t gotten around to trying these out yet. I went to the shop page and was reminded that the reason is they are only available in M. Will that change? My feet are around a US10.5/11 so testing the M seems risky.
