then I have to try 10E… this could work, with custom insoles and boot sock, I believe...

First 3-4 days were hard on my feet. Ten wear days and they are getting kind of comfy to walk in.

Thx. The leather feels great . I rotate these with my beckmans, which feel like sneakers regarding the weight comparison to these monsters.

Beckmans have kind of the same thick leather, but they have other differences.
They have lighter sole, outsole is lighter, and they have corc filling under footbed, because they are Goodyear welted.
Wescos have heavy outsole, no corc filling, just solid leather midsole… and they have stichdown construction.
Wesco also have double leather on toebox and heel.

I believe this makes the difference.

As Chris said, this is not tea core. The black domain leather has been a Wesco staple for a number of years. It is a hefty waxed dress leather that takes a shine easily and develops beautifully. Not unlike CXL but harder wearing.

Indeed. It is leather that is dyed black but in such a way that the dye does not penetrate the leather and is only on the surface.

based on first inspection I would say 10D is my best size. but never the less I will try this one.
with some thicker insoles and thicker socks. just with thick insoles i feel they are still slightly bulky but at least they are not hurt and not gathering socks badly.

will check later with thick socks at home…

Beautiful boots! The act of wearing them is what breaks them in (unless you want to do weird things with them instead). So they will get softer with wear for sure.

after few weeks I have finally figured out a right combination of footbeds and socks.
i have tried many footbeds with different thickness and the same number of different socks, looks like now I have a proper fit. Very comfortable.
