How did Boost get back to 2016 w/o a post? Boost is Life! Yeezy's for those times when to strut. NMD's out there looking fly as well. Adidas are killing it! surely some Boost converts here?

So I was surprised to find no thread for Adidas.

I have always been huge fan of select Adidas, alot of the soccer inspired shoes, skateboard shoes and their boost range. I actually got my first pair of ultraboost, the latest 19 in dark pixel and I love them! The comfiest sneakers EVER for me. I have been wearing my Nike air Max 270 to death now the one air bubble popped.

Never had the original, but this is supposed to have 20% more boost. It's soft yet firm, doesn't feel like it will bottom out. Also has a great amount of support and stability.

                  Good man @Jordonf9

I was a big “three stripes” fan for years. In the UK the Originals line is strongly linked with terrace culture and football fandom. When I was coming up in the 80’s and 90’s a pair of 501’s worn on top of some Samba or Gazelle was when going to Anfield to watch the footie was as cool as it got.

I have a small collection of about 20 pairs. I’ll get them up here bit by bit.

Good selection @neph93 . They actually make the black model your wearing with boost, I was close on getting a pair. Boost is great, but I still love air max, only owned the 270, which I love with flyknit.

I did have a pair of irunners(5923) with boost a while ago. I wasn't impressed with it besides its looks. Wasn't enough boost, or stiff enough, like the new 19s are thicker and have perfect ratio of cushion and stiffness. Also they had NO support or stability….horrible to wear.

My kicks are worn rarely now. Even in summer I prefer boots.  I love the aesthetic of OG shoes still and the colourways are often fantastic, but it turns out with time and age that I now don’t consider them particularly comfy or particularly supportive when you’re on your feet all day. I guess the Boost design fixes that but I’m so dialed in to the OG profiles that I can’t get on with the super modern ones (Yeezy’s make me want to throw up).

Wise words. This might be a huge unpopular opinion but Nike Jordans fall in the same (hideous) category for me. Never liked those and the hype around them.

Anyway, anyone remembers the Adidas Rekord iteration from 15 (?) years ago? I still think their silhouette is gorgeous and timeless. They should bring them back, it's about time.

Check out the Adidas Samoa and Samba, they look similar to the Rekord.
