I bought the one washed item. Treated it with filson wax and voila its like new.
This wax can also be used for all IH paraffin coated items.
Makes it more durable ( if nesessary at all
) -
Nice @Eisenherz that shirt looks mint! By chance did you take photos when it needed a waxing?
@twin I was wondering how your shirt is coming along. I am really interested in how this shirt looks when the wax starts coming out. I can think of no one better to get a shirt to the well worn stage.

@daltmeyer My shirt still looks like new. Trying not to wear it to hard so it stays nice.

@daltmeyer IHUK made a shrinking test and I bought the washed item for lower price. Did not take photos. I thought I could renew the wax and applyed Filson wax. But evidently the shirt did not need a rewax afterwash. It still looked great after wash. After waxing shirt has been drying for 3 days. It got little more shine. right now it's too hot outside for wearing. I think you can wear it for years before rewaxing..

I think if shirt is washed hot and several times you will gain a duller surface…

@Eisenherz Thanks for the detailed response. I am gonna wear one of these shirts to work every chance I get and see if I can wear some wax off. Will have to make room in The Big Rotation. Haha.
