Back from Berlin with a present from Haraki san. He gifted me his Denim M65 completely out of the blue. I think it must be a sample of the IHM-25 since this one doesn't have a hood.

It looks better like that with a soft collar IMHO.

It's not.  We made a washed denim M65 a few years back (I can't remember the lot number).  It did not have a hood.  We did not bring any over to the west because I thought the wash was too severe….
