And as usual, it's gone through a hot wash and dry cycle.

Looks more relaxed and I got some shrink in the sleeves and body which is good for me, as I felt it was slightly too long before.

…Make the hood out of Ventile and give it a nickel zipper, and this would be practically perfect* = the field jacket for all time. 

*I could live without the useless epaulettes, and snaps > Velcro

True. Add to that the fact I would happily wear about 75% of what IH put out and at some point you have to pass on things. I’ll hold on to the frail hope that they’ll still be around in a month or so.
