    @tangfj:

    I'm strongly leaning towards keeping the IH Olive version over the rest but still on the fence between RMC and IH in terms of which one I like more… the RMC version fabric feels floppier (which I like).

    Any ideas if the IH fabric will loosen and break in over time?  I imagine that it would but thought I'd ask the experts in case anybody has any definitive answer on this type of fabric and how it breaks in.

    I think the real test should be which keeps you warmer imo. The IH m65 has waterproof ventile lining so it’s going to give you extra protection. How does the RMC m65 compare?

      IH is warmest but not by a lot.  Where I live it doesn’t get terribly cold though.  I’d say RMC feels like a lighter early fall / spring jacket but the two are pretty close. That being said, given the waterproof ventile lining and other features mentioned above I have opted to keep the IH olive. Already dropped it off to bring up the sleeves a little!  Grey one will be making its way back to IH UK if anyone is interested!

      Now my decision is whether or not to sell the RMC… never thought I’d end up with 3 M65’s but I may need to wait until next spring to decide on that so I can see which jacket fairs better in warmer weather. Thanks guys!

        You could keep the RMC m65 as a backup. There’s no such thing as too many jackets [emoji110]

            @gaseousclay SO TRUE!  although I think have like 10+ jackets at this point…  ::)

              Wow. Not even one left in any size at this point! Glad I didn't miss out. 🙂

              @tangfj, the Real McCoy's is cool, but it just doesn't look as good as the other 3. The IH fabric is more substantial (particularly noticeable at hem and pockets), the shoulders look better on you on the IH, and the sleeve fit looks better on the IH. They appear to be about the same sleeve length, but the RMC sleeves are a little baggier, and that ultimately makes them look slightly too short for you. Finally, the jacket still looks good when you have your hands in your pockets on the IH ones, but the RMC looks pretty sloppy with hands in that way. If the RMC were a different color, I'd say keep it – it's still very cool as long as it's not being compared to IH -- but this one is so similar in color to the IH olive that I can't think of a good reason for you to wear the RMC over the IH. I'd sell if I were you.

                Thanks @cander49!  In the pictures I had the IH sleeves folded under once.  If I didn't fold the IH sleeves they would definitely be too long… anyway, I decided to keep the IH olive and the RMC (for now).  The grey one is on it's way back to IHUK so it should show up in their inventory soon.  As for the IH olive version, I now have it at my local tailor to bring up the sleeves a bit so I don't have to fold them anymore!  Can't wait to get it back and start breaking it in!

                  Yo! I see some talk of this jacket being sold out, and while that may be true mostly everywhere else… I've got a handful of Larges and a Small still available.

                  There would be no way for you to know since we don't have it photographed and up online yet, but if you're looking for one of those, hit me up. Chase@shopcanoeclub.com

                          Just pulled the trigger on the last M…

                          I've been eyeballing this piece for YEARS, since I saw the IHM-02 in 2013.

                              Weather's been too shitty for fit pics, but I really love this jacket!

                                      I’ve been sorely tempted but my list is long already. Other things have come in the way. There’s a black left in my size though so we’ll see…

                                          And as usual, it's gone through a hot wash and dry cycle.

                                          Looks more relaxed and I got some shrink in the sleeves and body which is good for me, as I felt it was slightly too long before.
