I alwyas measure in exactly the same way.  Unfortunately for those of us who are metric driven, that gives us a problem.  Because these jeans are effectively hand made, so there are variances between each pair.

For what it's worth - I just tried on all 3 Beatle Busters (and I love 'em all!)  The size 32 in natural indigo and 32 in overdyed fitted me same as size 31 in SBG (that's to say fitted poifickly)

How much of a hem do you guys suggest in this? Beatle says don't hem (And i love her stacks/fades!) but i usually get them at 33.5… true inseam a 32. What's everyone else doing? Just curious.

Ahem….2,5" more than your normal inseam. That'll give you a nice 2"std cuff and allows combing etc. If you want to stack, this is enough for it as well,and  not to look like you have ridiculously long inseam.
