I'm an XL in the 206 brown, and the measurements for the 203 are the same as the 206 (with the exception of about an 8th of an inch on the waist). @Filthy you usually go xxl too in UHF don't you? Do you have a 206 as well?
Wondering whether I should swap to an xxl before it's shipped next week?
I usually do 3xl. But this one is more snug in the chest. This could be due to the fact that it is from Japan and also the blog post I saw said that this is once washed so it could be pre-shrunk. I am not sure if this is true or not and I don't want to spread misinformation. I just know that this feels more snug than the other UHFs that i own. I haven't bought a UHF in 2 years so no I don't own a 206.

The 203 measures 60 cm and a little pit to pit.

I think the XL should be ok for me. XXL have a bit too much room for me, especially when layering. I'll put up some fit pics when it arrives.

I keep going back to the snaps…
Several retailers in my area are carrying this shirt, but I bought it from the IHUS site because of the snap upgrade option. I personally love the option to change the snaps and think that it's a brilliant play to set the IHUK/IHUS websites apart from the brick and mortar retail options that some of us have.
Cheers @Giles …that purchase of used equipment should insulate your profits for some time, at least from me.

I decided to stay with the black snaps. Got a shipping notification this morning. I could have made the switch but I decided against it. Maybe I’ll regret it after I see @budpatch

My XL arrived today and I could barely button the chest. It is strange because the XL in this and brown 206 are almost identical in every dimension. The XL 206 fits me perfectly. Can't figure it out as I was sent the largest of the (then) remaining xl's.
Oh well, xxl ordered instead.

Bugger. Very annoying when that happens. It isn’t a precise science and I think UHF’s can have a larger margin of difference than some other products. Happy for you that there were some XXL’s left. People have been caught out before by ordering the wrong size and the size they needed having sold out in the meantime.

Is the p2p in line with the fit chart? My green 206 xl was smaller than IH’s fit guide and has a 22” chest. Luckily that works for me

@gaseousclay yeah, it did come up smaller than the fit chart, but then again I always expect a little variation within the same size.
It is such an amazing shirt though. The material is so thick and a tight dense weave/knit and feels beautifully soft.. I've I ordered a XXL and it is going to be a real favourite for sure.

Hey bud. I grabbed a xxxl like I do for all IH westerns. This feels a little smaller than my oother UHF that are xxxl. But it fits great and it’s a bad ass shirt. I find they get a little bigger once the flannel relaxes after some wear. So I bet that xxl will be perfect for you.
