You can wear a wabash shirt one hundred days in the office and see very little evo but a week of work with concrete/wood/stone will knock the indigo right out of it. Abrasion is the key.

Still wearing this daily. It's showing some real signs of wear. Looking forward to giving it another wash soon.

I know exactly what you mean though. I can start wearing a new pair of 21oz in September at the start of my teaching year and they’ll be only mildly altered by the time outdoor DIY season starts the following June. One week of carpentry, construction and earth-moving and I’ve trebled the evo.

It has also taught me that washing is not to be feared. If you are active enough you can wash whenever you want and still have great fades.

Yup. It’s all about the abrasion. Indigo is practiacally insoluble in water so the idea that washing or soaking «sets» the indigo or spreads it out over the denim is bs anyway.

At any rate, this shirt is going to be legendary.
