We have quite a lot of this denim available to use.  I'm thinking of what to do with it…...

Approx. how long to production if a product was specced and a sample ordered today? Three months?

Maybe 4, depends upon how long the initial sample takes i.e. How busy the sampling room is…..

Personally I’d be very happy with 888 or 666. Generally, it seems the 888 and 777 are popular at the moment. I’d go with copper buttons and a dark gold/copper contrast stitching to complement the weft.

I have one or two other, slightly more speculative ideas, that you can dismiss at your leisure via PM [emoji1]

How about a modified type III? [emoji848]

Alpaca lined type iii (including collar)! There’s historical context for it (ie I’m not just wildly making things up).

                1 down 399 to go…..  🤔

“Untucked” work shacket gets my vote. Although everything I like ends up in the outlet so I’m a bad indicator.

I’d be interested in that, although many of my favourites also end up in The Outlet [emoji1]

^ I also suspect 22oz denim may be difficult to turn into a shacket.

Ah, yes. For some reason in my head it was 18oz when I posted.
