Nice sunny day here. 202-WHT, 666S-16, RW IR
And a close-up showing the lovely turquoise snaps…

I wonder if J.Crew spends their time on IG trying to find brands to copy. I realize that Westerns are nothing new but c'mon, a white chambray Western that looks just like the IH version?
-
Wash it once or twice tho and it will be wrecked….

That’s a good move. This is a glorious shirt.
I’ve come to the realisation that being XL in shirts and sort of bound to IHUK because of my location is a blessing. It means that when they sell out I can move on mentally. Otherwise I’d have even more shirts than I do, and I already have enough [emoji1]

After putting off and hoping they would sell out in my size, I finally pulled the trigger.
Wise choice. It's a great shirt. Even better in the flesh than in the pics.

I have never been huge on the color white for clothing (partially because I have two toddlers), but I feel given the standard quality if IH fabrics and the stated experience of other members (thanks Adam! @Appfaff), this should be no big deal to keep white.
Plus, I feel with the white color, the shirt can be worn in more "dressy" situations…I know from my experience with the indigo version that the feel of the material is next level (which is pretty much the given for any IH piece).

@DStauffer - I wore mine to a property walk through a few weeks ago and managed to get a ton of black marks on it.
A wet rag and a minute of my time brought it back to new.

My experience of IH chambray is that it cleans up very well. Whether that is a feature of chambray generally (it being a workwear fabric), IH chambray specifically (Haraki-san being Haraki-san), or just plain luck, I don't know.

Well this might be blasphemous to anyone who bought this WHITE Chambray, but after one wear I decided I could not do white. Ended the day with tons of indigo stains from my denim, along with just an overall "dirty" feel. I knew it would spend most of its days in the closet or in the wash, so I had my local "Indigo" guy dye this puppy.
I gave him clear instructions to only do one dip, knowing it would come out fairly light and bright. . .but was not expecting the "marbled" look that occurred. Just received it today and I am extremely pleasantly surprised. Had to put it on right in the office. It is marvelous!
Might not be for everyone, but in my book this is one of the nicest shirts in my closet now, and I feel like it is just going to get better with every wear and wash.
So glad I did it!
Huge props to the dye master Isaac Paul:

Blasphemy!
I bet it’s going to look even more badass with a ton of wear.

Funnily enough it’s the whole reason I bought the 202. I love this Old dirty Patina that natural Denim, or in this case Chambray gets after some wear. The bleeding from my denims is really starting to show. I like ke the Indigo overdye you did and it looks great indeed. But , hey. Different strokes and all that. Haha
