Will this denim ever be available in another cut?

We have loads of it left, we are trying to think what to do with it

        I m little anxious about the compatibility with shirt/jacket indigo/white weft…  ::)

I think you’ll be fine. It certainly looks excellent paired with brown duck.  Check out the IH-2526j.

Oh, well that’s easy. Make some 777’s out of it. There, problem solved. I’ll be over here if you have anything else you need to sort out.  😃

And if you really want to piss my wallet off, make a rider’s jacket out of it.

Managed to get a pair of these in the sale. They are way too long but great otherwise. Cloth feels wonderful.

Should I wash them now to get the leg shrinkage sorted and then get them hemmed? Am sure this might be sacrilege to some on here. But the alternative is to work out how long I want them add 1.5 inches  so they can shrink later when I finally wash them but all the honeycomb lines will be in the wrong places.

What is the collective wisdom on these matters?

They won’t shrink. You could boil them and they wouldn’t shrink. No soaking or washing needed. This denim is a far too well kept secret, it is absolutely beautiful. Great purchase.

Shrink test results on a tag 34, 40 degrees and no spin.

Apologies…. my bad. I forgot these were released raw and assumed they behaved like regular 21oz aftee having been thoroughly sanforised. I have a pair, but they were the sample and arrived pre-shrunk.

No worries. But back to the question at hand should I wash them now to get the shrinkage out of the way?

That is the safest move, although I’ve never done it.

That would do. Although very hot bathtub and a bit of agitation would be best. You’ll minimise the risk of abrasion marks that way.

Followed your advice, turned boiler temp to max, and soaked the jeans in very hot water and agitated.

Lost just over an inch from waist and 1 3/4 inches from seam.  Hopefully the jeans will get back to me from IH HQ in time for a trip to the lake district tomorrow but the courier is more than likely to come 5 minutes after we depart.

Damn @dj that’s good work. Fingers crossed for the a timely delivery. Enjoy The Lakes too, been about 25 years since I was last up that way.

We are one of the last places on our DPD drivers route so unlikely. It’s only two nights away so won’t be long until I get to wear them.

So happy with these. I like the beige, it’s similar to the pronto denim. Got them hemmed so they have a 2.5” turn up to show off the contrast. Will be a great addition to the wardrobe, I had William Lennon make me some black oiled suede chukka boots and these trousers go so well with them. I also got the obl black belt in the sale and they compliment the jeans and boots well too.

Fabric is surprisingly soft from the outset, will be interested to see how it fades.

Fit is comfortable, I cycle quite a lot and have large thighs so it’s great to find jeans that fit.
