i hope you guys don't mind me posting these here.. but as promised..

i'm not sure what are the differences with mine and this release, except what @Graeme pointed out with the velcros being replace with snaps and the selvedge details on the pocket. i also think i may have lost one side of the littel leather loop thing for the pull strings, not entirely sure on that one..

all in all i've washed them a couple of times i think..

          @Giles:

          Yep, kind of silly 🙂

This is what it says on the product page:

Four external patch pockets and one internal pocket, all with snap fastenings

That's what I get for drooling over the pictures and not reading the product description

I'm ready to hit that buy button, but I'm torn between sizes. I'm usually xxl, but the xl looks like a good fit.

IH crew guys - as far as shoulder measurements go, where should I take the measurements from. I know where to take them as per your measuring guide, but the bi-swing pleated shoulders are throwing me here. Any advice would be great, cheers!

Pleated shoulders are your friend. Size down if you don’t want to layer, stay TTS if you do.

Hi dude. I'd want maybe a sweatshirt or type III at most to layer, but at 14oz this would be my spring/Autumn go to jacket rather than winter

I’ve not worn the jacket or had it to hand but having examined the measurements I’d do XL (my normal UHF/jacket size) if I wanted to wear this with a hoodie or heavy shirt/tee combo. Light shirt or tee I’d size down. Hope that helps.

If I were to get one, I'll go with my usual size. This particular design doesn't look well too fitted and you can always use drawstrings to tighten it up a bit.

Bang done. Went with XXX. I'm in the UK, the worst that can happen is a straight swap for an XL. thanks for the advice folks.really looking forward to getting this one. 😛

I'd agree with @neph93, and go with your usual size.

I had an XXL in the denim M65 (@trail and arrow has it now), and it got a bit tight in the shoulders. If When I get another, I'd go XXXL.

Aye @Graeme We aren't all 5'7" and 150lbs! Repping the bigger fellas!

I am so stoked on this jacket arriving. Truly if I could have designed my own M65 this would pretty much have been it

best is that the velcro is replaced with buttons, maybe a personal thing but i think it's a perfect improvement! the OD treatment looks very lovely too!

Full agreement!  😎 …. can't await that beauty

3rd'd! I'll await my final opinion when my jacket arrives, but I have to say at this stage it appears to be very well priced too 😁

you're so lucky to have an opportunity for a size swap. For me living in Australia, i need to do a bit of guesswork based on the measurement taken from one of my IH flannel shirts and size up ::)  😢

I normally wear one size down from Sam's size but the shoulders measurement for Small is only 16.3" which I think is too tight if I need to wear flannel or a hoodie as midlayer. So i think Medium will suffice

Remember that this jacket has action pleats in the shoulders, which give you extra wiggle room…
