Hello guys, small question here, i recently bought a Johnny Cash from the website and last week a really great offer appears on the net that I couldn't refuse.
This one was also marked as a Johnny Cash version, ok but when i received it, the chainstitch were differents, full black on the one of the website and yellow on the other one.

Is there any chance the yellow one is also a Johnny Cash?

It really seems it's one of the two older versions yes, hard to believe when you see the condition, it's brand new  ???

I have a hard time telling the difference between the two and I’m sure someone who’s better at this than me will chime in…

my guess would be it's the 2, as that would be the non fade version. given the assumed age and that it should have seen one or two washes, the 2 is probably the most realistic.

The person whom sold me the shirt said to me he wore less than 5 times the shirt and never washed it

Awesome shirt. Picked one up a while back and have worn it only 4 times. I’m a 40-42 collar bone to collar bone, so the sleeve started snug at the end of my collar bones in order to get a more fitted look and avoid ballooning in the mid-section. Had to go with the XL, as a L will not fit my shoulders. It is slowly softening up and changing. The cuffs have a really cool selvedge ID when you roll up the sleeves as well. Very nice and looking forward to the gradual fade.

So i ended to recontact the seller to have more information, he was incredibly nice to send me print screens of the invoice and the conversation back then with Matt and Paula, so it is a 2014 Johnny Cash too.

Pretty brand new as I mentionned for a 9yo shirt

Here is my very worn and very washed IHSH-218-BLK "Johnny Cash". I got this in 2020 and have worn and washed it way toooo many times to count. Just wanted to show off that it can fade a bit even with the reactive dye! Cheers!
