I was at the Microsoft campus in Reading today, I don't do smart hardly ever but I was quite pleased with what I assembled. The receptionist was snippy so I wrote "Do No Evil" in piss on one of the cubicle floors (Disclaimer: Not true):

oh - don't worry Bertoni I've had quite a few bottles of Côte-Rôtie . . . 2 Domaines - René Rostaing and Jean-Michel Gerin are amongst the best I've tried

Pleased to hear you've had the pleasure 😃 I was lucky enough to taste an incredible Gigondas the other day. Friend of my wife's cousin…will have to get the name for you...among the very best wines i've had. VERY strong though...Barrolo strength. My teeth were a lovely shade of black by the end of the meal (always a good sign) 😉
Hope you're feeling ok anyway my friend. Enjoy the silence.

        Bertoni

Just ordered some 2006 Syrah, Côte-Rôtie, Les Bécasses, Michel Chapoutier

(and some 2007 Ribera del Duero Torresilo, Cillar de Silos;  2000 Tokaji Aszu , Oremus, 5 puttonyos;  2009 Riesling Auslese, Wehlener Sonnenuhr, J.J. Prüm, Mosel;  2007 Marsanne, St-Joseph, Les Oliviers, Ferraton Père et Fils  and  2006 Pinot Noir Nuits-St Georges, Clos de la Maréchale, 1er Cru, J.F Mugnier)

90% of our furniture came from Ikea.. and 100% of it was assembled my myself. :-\

just be careful. they do not provide extra parts. 😠

I'm ok with the parts, it's the sucky tools that I have that are killing me.

My screw drivers were stripping the screws that Ikea uses and I also purchased a center island that came with a tiny screw driver that I had been using but it has put a large blister in the palm of my hand so I thought I would gift myself a brand new Ryobi (black and flourescent yellow/green) which has  my build time.

Sounds like my house.  I've become an assembly expert over the years, and a decent screwdriver and a couple of hex drivers are the key.  Oh yeah, and a rubber mallet is really useful, too.  Those damn wood pegs are such a hassle.

Jesus Harry Christ on a bike…how much booze?! Your scottish doctors obviously have some kick-ass dietary advice...ours are all "fruit, vegetables, no salt, no sugar..." an all that crap. All I can say Geo is enjoy...especially the Cote Rotie and the Nuits-St-George....

Stever- we're pretty lucky here in NZ there is water everywhere. You never more than 5 min drive to the nearest beach

Beats- it feels like it, I just keep saying " well if I am doing this I may as well do that" helps that my best mate is the builder and doing at cost.  I just decided that I want to pull my deck out as far as council will let me so I can fish from it.

I am in Auckland [upper north island] nelson [very top of south island]. Nelson is a stunning city, you think that view is nice they have the water on one side and a national forest on the other with Snow rivers running in between.

G yep that's my goal to cast a line from my deck and catch something. There is a public walk/cyclist path in between but if I am high enough…......
