Those are the famous Fade Friday ones, yeah? Beauts!
-
Yes
-
They are beautiful indeed.

The two day soak-a-thon is in the final stretch. They got the intial soak to soak all over, a boiling hot water soak (to address the inseam shrinkage), dryed overnight, then another 4 hour boiling soak today.
This is them drying on my box fans right now.
I checked last night and they shrunk almost two inches from the top of the waist to the bottom of the hem, in total overall length. And the inseam shrank just over an inch, from a 37.2 to about a 36 length.
They're too wet to get a final visual. But I will post that and some fit pics tomorrow when they are bone dry.

The jeans aren't completely dry but dry enough I can measure them.
I'm pleased with the soaking results.

Waist 36.3….Post 36
Rear rise...post 15.5
Thighs......Post 13
Inseam 37.2 post 36Lost 2.5 inches from top to bottom
And just over an inch in the inseam
About 1/4 to 1/2" in overall width
The waist didn't really shrink at all because the majority of it didn't get wet.
And the patch is completely pristine which was my goal, and the waist is just right. I'll have a struggle at first but after a few days it'll be perfect.

Off topic but that IH tee is so cool, I am sorry I passed on it when it was released…

@Heavy_blue I tried to get you a couple pictures but the sun isn't having it today…
But they more or less look the same.
This is with a bright flashlight

@Filthy thanks for taking the time to post
honeycombs are setteling! Nice to see! Keep smashing them

I am relieved they didn't shift at all. Because usually my previous experience is that they did no matter what. But I seems to have gotten out all of the shrinkage with my brutal soaking and drying routine-from the onset without having to put them in the washer and dryer, preserving the crispness of the denim and the pristineness of the patch. They aren't clean, but they don't smell. I don't mind dirt from the Earth, just dirt from other animals and people really grosses me out.

@Filthy love the start of the electric blue(s) awesome!

Me too. This is why I wanted my last pair of IH for probably a long time to be this particular denim. It is super-duper
