Hm, so whats the trick with getting these so fast? I want to be honest. These shoes seems to be pretty awesome but actually as a student I don´t feel like giving 500$ away for 6 weeks as a credit.
Maybe you understand, maybe you don´t - nevermind.

The point is that I´d gladly order them right away, which doesn´t seem to be possible over the OSB-page (I mean without waiting for aprox 6 weeks). Does any shop list them?

Anyhow, actually I would appreciate that they stock some more of their shoes. Its not like there are 10 different lasts, 10 widths and 7 colors which would make stocking very difficult.

1 last, 1 width, 2 colors -> shouldn´t be too hard to stock at least common sizes e.g. 9-11 (are these common? I have no idea..) without sitting on them for too long and not selling them.

      Nevermind, just my .2 cents

      Simon.

There are a few shops that stock them, Lando got them from Wharf in the US.  EndClothing in the UK has them, maybe others.

I understand the idea of putting down money and not getting the product for a while isn't ideal.  I'm just lucky to be in a position where that isn't an issue.  I believe George has addressed the issue as to why they do it like this and how they're trying to build a small stock, but that probably doesn't make you feel better.

Not to get nitpicky but what are you getting for $500?  The most expensive pair I see are $356, but maybe you're figuring in taxes, etc.

Anyway, I agree with Seul, emailing George is probably your best solution.  Hopefully you're able to get a pair!

I have to say, these are the comfiest shoes/boots I have ever bought.  Straight from the get go I have been able to wear them for long perids with no issues whatsoever.  Looking forwards to getting the brown boat shoe - should be here soon…..

Yup, you'll be fine.  With no socks you may even think about going to an 8.5 but you should email George and ask him.  You're definitely safe in a 9.

                                Hi all

Noob here… hope you dont consider me rude just registering and coming straight in with a question.

Was wondering whether any of you guys in the UK who have ordered from OSB directly could give me an idea of how long delivery usually takes. I seem to remember USPS are extremely slow from a previous item i ordered from the US.

My shoes were dispatched 4/4/11, and the tracking is showing no updates after 9 days, only that they have been notified to expect the parcel.

How long did you guys have to wait?

                                Lee

Yep, they look good (those from epaulet).
No, I think there is just one shoe factory in Maine producing for everyone.

sure makes you wonder, are all these shoes (epaulet, OSB, bean, yuketen, eastland, quoddy) pretty much the same, with a different name stamped on the inside?

kinda like a lot of the "premium" new US jeans lines… same denim, different patch
