Feeling very tempted, especially now the who wears what post has been updated.

XXL is measuring shorter than both XL & L. Typo, or quirk of overdying a fabric with an irregular weave?

Type-o @jerkules on one of the two pieces measured of that size.

Will be updated in a mo to 26.2" on the XXL length.

Just curious - what’s the building behind Olly?

I am no good at architecture but it is down a lovely road in Southsea called Castle Road.

Thanks @Graham. I might have to explore a bit further next time I’m down your way.

Interesting mixture of architecture… the upper floor is Tudor the door Georgian?

Well this came out of nowhere!

Was this the jacket that AJ was fading?  Or was he fading something else?

                      Blanket-line all the things!!!

I really like the measurements on this one.

Currently debating this one or the 14oz OD Type 3 (IH-526J-142OD)… warmth wise how would they compare?

I'm still newish so - it's hard to take what I've learned about oz's in pants and translate to a jacket.

Some people in that thread were calling the 14 oz a summer jacket and I'm pretty sure my version of a "summer jacket" is an a-shirt lol. I'm kind of looking for a good east coast oct/nov/dec midweight that can see some action in march and april as well.... like could layer it in the low 40s, rock it solo in the 50s/ low 60s.

Obviously any denim jacket won't be a true winter coat but kinda the step just before that.

Anything overdyed is not summer weight.  The overdyeing shrinks the fabric and tightens the weave….

It's here and I think it's worked out well.  My crappy photo doesn't show how crazy the slub is in places (but at least the headless look is probably an improvement :)). Looking forward to seeing how this will develop.

Thanks to @Bailey for help with the sizing.
