      Ducks in the wild….literally!

      In the easy chair with my boots on, melted whiskey in my hand. Could'na been asleep for more than three hours...time to go to work again...

                      I may be wrong and often am…but I think the only time it's sulphur dyed is if it's an Over Dyed product.

                        Lots of stuff is sulphur dyed. The Boss seems to use that technique on serge a lot. I don’t know if the duck is for sure, but it wouldn’t surprise me if it was. It certainly evo’s like sulphur dyed gear, but doesn’t smell like it.

                          Duck is just another term for canvas, it can be dyed in various ways

                            The reason I ask is I’ve got my ducks pretty dirty. I did a gentle wash and it didn’t get all the dirt out. Then I tried a cold wash on the washing machines “normal” setting. Still some dirt on the thighs and around the leg opening. I guess I’ll try a warm wash next. Haha. I’m not sure the hottest setting I should go without risking some shrinkage. I’m line drying

                              I’m wondering if I need to scrub the fabric to get the dirt/ stains out of there will be some lightening of the fabric.

                                If they are dirty and you want them clean, scrub them.  That's what I do…..

                                  Haha. Ultimately that’s what I did. Didn’t hurt them at all. Not sure when I’ll learn that “built to last” means they can handle a beating….why would the cleaning part be any different?
