I think you should bring another pair in rotation, otherwise you end up with a complete to white faded pair

30 degrees day after day sucks and makes wearing the XHS unpleasant. Hope everyone else is coping up. I have totally lost wearing my XHSiB over the last few weeks.

glad I chose the 18oz. It’s not a perfect summer denim but I managed to wear em almost all of the
hot summer days. think I only missed 2 or 3 days were it was 34-36 degrees.
had to wash it one time more than planned because of all that sweat 🥵
but I think it’s getting faster after the second wash , starts to look great

Impressed by all these fades. I entered the Invitational this year and I’m ready to give up on my pair. Picked the wrong denim.

@GardenState what pair did you enter with? I’m feeling the same about dropping out…more so intentionally just to wear other denim tho

With very little experience with Pure Blue Japan I picked the PBJ indigo x black 013. Which is I believe 18oz denim. I find the cut to be too slim. Although the denim feels substantial it is not like the pairs I have waiting to be worn. My biggest gripe is I don’t think I like the indigo x black combination. It feels too business casual and not traditional enough if that makes sense. I think I’d prefer my indigo denim to be separate from black denim moving forward. And really I would just like to wear other things and have slowly started to.
Right now I have a pair of xhs which is calling my name and I would really like to find a good black denim. Sorry for the rant

Don’t drop out even if you’re not wearing your pair as much just keep submitting monthly pictures you may feel different about them in a couple of weeks . Wear them when you can and by the end your have one amazing pair .
I’m currently only wearing mine in work now, switching up to 555s-19L after work.

I managed to hang in there last month and basically posted pics with no progress so I will probably stick it out. I truly salute the people that can go a solid year without cheating with other pairs. I don’t if I’m getting old or I have ADD but so many other pairs (a few) are calling my name.
Need to find a solid pair of black denim too.

the XHS are great ! they need more wears of course to get comfy.
are you entering the Redline rally ? will take part with 292-ind , if they´ll be restocked since then. second choice would be a 526 lefty -

what about the slubby OD 526 or the indigo slubby ? bet you would fade those awesome -
the buck is unbelievable, will bring it in regular rotation soon.

Don’t quite understand why there posing my pair so often with 800+ contestants must be loads of pairs a ton better then mine but great full for kind words.
The picture was a rush as I nearly missed the deadline and still got posted
