Those are some truly unique fades, Denimminer! Mind me asking what size you're wearing? How do you find the fit?
Yeah I definitely hope after a wash the boot fade isn't so obvious. Wearing a tag 32 that are actually soaked in really hot water when I first got them as they were just a tad too big compared to my tag 31 black 21oz 777. They have stretched a little bit in the waist more than I'd prefer but I bet they will shrink up just right after the first wash.

These are looking great. I love that you’d never know they were anything other than than well worn, heavy weight selvedge denim.
I was definitely skeptical at first but yes, you'd never know they had "stretch"

Welp picked up a pair of these just for the heck of it and I’m in! Super CONFY! Love the cut of these too. I finally figured out I just had to gain a few pounds to get out from between sizes
These are taken after a full day of wear while at work…

Idk, I finally picked up a pair of indigo 21oz 555, and I really like them too. I sized up in these 777s and they both basically fit almost the same.
I’ll just say that If I’m not a 777 guy or 555, I’m
an iron heart guy

I keep checking measurements on both models. Sometimes the rear rise is too much on the 555 and the knee is too tight. Others times the 777 rise is to short front and rear.

These are definitely worth the tag upsize…
I debated good and hard on a 36 vs 38. He found me a pair of 38 with thighs right on with the site’s chart with a waist slightly slimmer which was perfect. This upsize to a 38 in this 777-sst and it’s lower rise with stretch is my first perfect pair of denim.

I gave these their first wash today. First time in my 10 years in selvedge to make it a full 6 months of every single day wear. One thing I noticed compared to my regular 21oz(SBG) is that my cuffs did not get the regular holes. Can barely tell where they were cuffed on these and the crotch has a tiny hole but compared to the others that had 4 holes at 6 months but more washes and less activity. The stretch is just enough to preserve them a bit it seems

im a size 32 in the IH 63321 0z but I ALWAYS seem to get crotch blowouts due to my past life as a powerlifter. Not really a fan of medium/high rise. the slight stretch really intrigues me… would 32 be a good size for me?

Apologies in advance if this has been discussed already in this thread or Neph's very detailed 555 thread on this fabric but I just don't have the time to read through all the info right now, but how does this fabric compare in breathability to the regular 21oz fabric? I'm curios if whatever material is in this fabric to give it the stretch affects the breathability.

It is a little more dense than the standard 21oz. Breathable for sure, but not quite as airy as the OG.
