Stag is a fun shop; I've picked up a couple of things there myself. And the bat colony under the Congress Street bridge is a definite must see. Good thing you got there at the right time of year.

Did you live in Austin at some point Chris?
No, but the wife is a UT grad, so we go there once a month or so on average to do stuff. In the last year we've gone for 3 concerts, a birthday party, my silly gorilla costume 5k and a couple of weekend trips just to get out of Houston. After a while, it starts to feel pretty familiar.
Glad you enjoyed your trip- I know I had a blast checking in to see where you were and what you were doing. Hope you have a fun & safe trip home, and in the immortal words of Lyle Lovett, "you're not from Texas, but Texas wants you anyway."
