Well I was waiting for the Sherpa Type III but I caught myself off guard by how much I love this in black. Size large copped.
Alex, you are a large in this jacket I saw. Is it comfortable over an UHF?

The beast has arrived and WHAT A JACKET
I knew it was going to be amazing by the sheer size of the IH envelope.
The overall heft, drape, and comfort are next level. I spec’d a large and it fits me well over an UHF but has a little wiggle room for a light liner, denim jacket, or my padded vest which is perfect.
Darci tried it on because of how heavy it feels and her in it is adorable
Anyway, nice work Haraki and IronHeart. Yet another piece of clothing my daughter cant wait to inherit!

I have my fair share of whipcord products now and am continually amazed by the material. All the properties of cotton, but woven so it behaves like something else too. Genius. For that reason alone, I would love to own one of these some day, but it isn’t on the cards at the moment.

I know @Alex has chimed in on the warmth of this jacket, but does anybody else have any experience in sub zero celsius temps? I don't own any blanket lined jackets, so wondering how others feel about the whipcord + blanket lining. thanks in advance!

Thank you Steelworker and Neph [emoji1] I’ve been wearing it around the house to break it in and I’m loving it.
I wore it last night to the Christmas lights at the zoo and it was around 36F (~2). I had a long sleeved tee, an UHF, a papa nui wool knit cap, and the IH muffler and I was warm enough for the evening. I think my N-1 would be a hair warmer but I appreciated the fuller coverage of the M51. When it gets really cold here I’m going to try it over my padded IH vest or a Grammici inner jacket. I think that will be a very toasty combo.

An unexpected bonus of this jacket is that the pockets are MASSIVE. I can fit an entire Goose Island Bourbon Barrel reserve in the pocket
