Not sure how they'll end up over time, but out of the box they feel kind of sand papery like my SG1101.  I approve.

Doing some measurement comparing and would it be safe to say if I'm a 34 in the BB, I'd be a tag size 33 in IH-666S post soak?

I'm looking for a slightly similar fit w/ a smaller leg opening.

(I did this comparison based on self-edge's measurements)

yup…i concur..  im size 30 634S, size 31 proper for 666, 31 for BB and 32 for 666OD.

but i dont have slim thighs so take that into account

I have larger thighs/calves and thats my main reason for choosing these sizes.  I'm looking for the BB fit with a smaller leg opening basically

looking good el.. cant believe you are size 32, im wearing size 32 and they are loose/baggy on me. You are leaner than me and they fit you very slim…
