Well done that man. Great jacket, and will suit you well I think.

Yes, but all the Japanese ones have the chenille patch, and if you remove it, stitching scars will remain…..

                Damn, are they very visible?

@Jordan23 Did yours come with the patch and if yes, did you remove it?

**Edit.  In fact, we took none with patches on.  We sewed them on if a customer wanted one.  So we have zero experience of the patched ones, just suspicions....

Cole no, mine hadn‘t sewn on the patch. I would have removed it as I prefer the cleaner look.

                      That's my preference as well.

So, what's your suspicion from your experiences in the past?

I guess (as somone with limited knowledge in these matters) chino fabric should be soft und "moveable" enough to close the stitch holes with some "rubbing" and since the jackets are new, there should be no color differences between the fabric under the patch and the rest of the jacket.

My suspicion is that there will be scarring, that is why we have not taken any of the badged versions and debadged them.  There will be no color difference, but there will be scarring.  How much, we just do not know. Will it disappear in time?  Yes.  Would it bother me?  No.  If you want us to get you a badged one we will, but it's on a no return basis…..

Hmmm…I have to think about that. It's an expensive risk to take.  😞
