    @Appfaff:

I’m in love with the unbrushed Merz B. Ones

I’m also really loving my 346’s only gripe I have is the huge neck opening when it’s a bit colder..

I also agree with u on sizing. I also wear a 7/xl in the grey ones. But would probably also size up on colored ones.
I own a couple of Merz. 102 henleys and the darker the color the smaller they run…
I have natural, army and ink blue all in xl and the natural is comfy, army is a bit more snug and the ink blue is straight out of the box tight as hell, I’m afraid after a wash/soak it’ll be unwearable.

Totally get that.. my natural Henley is an XXL and the buttons still pull… I can wear their Ts, but the plackets pull on me..

What's the RmC sportswear label? I have a standard design grey marl from them that is super comfy, thick and robust. It is also a size too big for me. Really should move it on 😃

Otherwise I'm all about the 14oz IH loopwheel sweat fabric. No surprise there though.

Not to rot the thread, because I have no sweats from Merz, but their sizing is a pain in the ring as is their ever changing nomenclature for their product lines. I hate having to go and work out which fabric they use for which design. To be fair, it is often the retailers fault for not marking things clearly. All that being said, I really like their henleys an long armed tees made of their heavier cotton jersey.

I had a difficult time sizing my TSG sweater.  Mostly because I've been quoted shrink amounts on garments before and not had anywhere near that, so when SE told me to size up, I was skeptical.  But I listened to them and, sure enough, it shrank to the perfect size!

@neph93 you just give those oversized sweatshirts to your kids.  My kids love them 😃

I have the exact same experience. Don’t care too much as I wear em as undergarment mostly.
            A 102 Henley with a 346 sweater is such a great combo…

I have two of their 1950 T-shirt’s and absolute love em but one of em has roping on the hems and neck line.. [emoji2369]

Their sizing really is a pain in the behind. Every color seems to fit differently.
Which frustrates me since I really do love their products when the size is right.

I really should get a 346 sweater in XXL and see how that goes, just wash without fear… [emoji848]

Are there no IH crew neck sweats in production at the moment? Just hoodies? I wanted to pick up a marl crew neck. Oh well.  😞

I was going to say the IHSW-34 but I checked and it is gone. It’s a very nice top, but I’d love one made of the 14oz in grey.

I wanted to revive this to say that I finally get why loopwheeled rules. I currently have a full zip hoodie from Real McCoy's and a 9oz raglan sleeve crew from them (with a soon-to-be inbound pullover hoodie from them, too). The crew has no flocking and the zip does. Vastly different vibes and both SO comfy.

I have a few of the Real McCoy sweaters, they're wonderful!

I've got a Merz b. Schwanen inbound, fit pic to follow once it's arrived. Having long arms I find a lot of the Japanese offerings are too short in the arms for me but I'm hopeful the Merz will be fine. More to come . . .

I’ll be interested to hear what you think. I like the look of their heavier garments, but have had mixed experiences with their tees.

I have the Merz - be sure to gently soak it first, they do shrink considerably - but a warm iron with steam does bring the shape back to life!

Yeah, I have long arms as well, @den1mhead. Updates most welcome!

Sorry to hear that, @neph93 – I also had some issues with the shirts. I bought much larger than I usually wear to guard against getting an accidental belly tee after a wash or two. It happened anyway…

@goosehd I have about six different tops from them. Some henleys and long armed tees. For the most part I’m happy with them, but the way they differentiate their fabric qualities is unclear, their retailers have no idea about that either, so knowing what you are getting is impossible.

In addition, their sizing is all over the place. I have two long armed tees from the same season in the same style, where the L is much bigger than the XL. Sizing between different styles is a nightmare too. It got so silly I don’t bother anymore.

@neph93 – And this is why I stick with brands like IH or The Real McCoy's. I have enough on my plate without also needing to sort out wtf kinda fabric is being used and how that will effect fit lol.  😃

Theres just so much options for Loopwheeled / Loopwheeled-like material floating around nowadays that it gets kind of overwhelming.
Been meaning to try out the Real McCoy's sweatshirts, so a trip to S&S might be in order in April (though not sure how it'll be sizing as it is all still non-contact at the moment)

                                      I'm as ugly as you

@J-IV – Well, I bought both of mine online from S&S and Mari & co. were super helpful with sizing. I snagged a Large in the 9oz raglan crew and an XL in the zip hoodie (but would prob also take a Large if not for having ordered an XL and digging the oversized nature of the fit). The chat feature on the site helps a LOT. I'd been p skeptical of Real McCoy's, but sorta sold now. Quality is nice and build is as well. Details are great.

Thanks for the info @henry_david . As with most of us here, I don't tend to deviate away from IH goods, but the Real McCoy's have always piqued my interest with their sweaters / sweats.

My surprise for this year is Warehouse. I have a Warehouse thermal which I wore a lot and the tee which I can already anticipate a lot of wear for this coming season.
