Thanks @dinobarnesberlin - I agree, a slim straight cut with higher rise looks best on me, however, before now, the mobility was always an issue.. I am really loving these and will be getting the ST denim in a slim fit (probably a size down from these) once released as well.

These look like they give you plenty of room to move in for sure. Sizing down would leave less room no?

@dinobarnesberlin - yeah, but the stretch means mobility isn't sacrificed even with a slim fit. I could snag a size down in there and they would fit much more slim but wearable.. I honestly may do that since the fit is so good!

@appfaff - thank you for that wonderful write-up, which pushed me over the edge to pick these up. Have them on today for the first time and they are very comfortable. They have the heft of IH denim but the movement is better than expected. You wouldn't think these are 19oz.

anyone who has been rocking these hard lately give them a wash? I think it's time mine snugged up a bit and got some work dust off of them.. wondering how they due after a wash?? Cheers!

If they behave like the Shinayaka then they go back to the start before loosening right back up again. The stretch was certainly still there, doing its job, after the first wash. The IH-555-SST are currently drying after their second wash so if anything changes, I'll let you know.

Mine have been washed several times, the same way I always do my denim. Inside-out, warm wash w/spin, tumble dry. Zero fucks given=results!

Did this happen? My weight has been a yoyo lately. Thinking pants with some stretch might be the answer. Ignition works appears sold out of most sizes.

Oh hell yes. The 21oz Shinayaka denim, available in 555, 666, 777 and 888 with the SST suffix.
