Those shirts are lovely. Have the red and want to buy a UHF, so passed on this. Sadly.

The fabric is amazing. I have both the red and indigo and both are equally great. As far as warmth they aren’t as shielding from cold as the UHF’s but they are definitely a nice middle ground between too lightweight and an ultra heavy flannel. I highly recommend them.

For those that have this shirt, how has your experience been with the shrinkage via a cold/hot wash? How much should I be expecting with either? Thanks a ton!

From the shop page: “One-washed so minimal, if any, shrinkage”.

I have machine washed mine three or four times. No shrinkage. I imagine that if you cranked the temps to 90C it will shrink anyway. Most cotton does. However a normal 40C wash  creates no shrinkage.

Strange. IH shirts are generally considered to have relatively long sleeves and these seem about standard measurements for IH. What are you basing your observations on?

I've asked Rivet and Hide for real sleeve measurement and it was 66 cm.
                          I need at least 67 cm 😞

Is that based on measuring shirts you have already?

That is a work shirt, yes? The 247 is a western. I would strongly recommend looking at the shoulder measurements of both shirts.

Work shirts often have marginally smaller shoulders than westerns because of the cut. This means the sleeves need to be longer.

Breaking out this western today. Fall weather is finally starting to set in here in NJ. This is an XL and fits more like an L through the shoulders and chest with an opening more in-line with XL
