Bring the dims goddammit! No way I need these, shouldn’t really splash for them either… but it may happen anyway.

The dims will be super exciting as it will be the first time XHS has been released where I’m only thinking about potential stretch and no shrinkage.

25oz that most likely stretches back quickly intrigues me even though I just got xhsbb. The double black has already stretched quite a bit.

No guarantee it will be quick. I’m speculating totally. The 21oz stretches quickly. You notice a difference after the first day. After a week the difference is big. The 21oz OD stretches even more readily and seems to stretch more from starting dims.

With the 25oz, the two OD processes should strip any and all shrinkage out meaning the jeans will stretch, back. However how much and how quickly is an unknown factor until we get hard data back here.  @Paul9221 may be our man for that.

My theory is that the 25oz will stretch out just in the knees and waist first whereas the 21oz would stretch out in the top block.

Denim stretches fairly uniformly where it is put under pressure. So knees, waist, top block, will stretch in the same way. Theoretically at least.

Believe me the fabric is very thick and will be soften over the time…

The feel of these are amazing next level..

It shame that the 555’s didn’t make to the final production..

I'm definitely not your man for fading progress because I have quite a few things that I rotate, but I'll be happy to take some pre and post measurements!  Because it's double-OD, I'm going to assume no shrinkage and won't soak them.  But I'll let you know what the measurements are before I put them on and give you an update a day later and then a week later.

This was a bit confusing in the description:

• Overdyed - the overdying process takes out all the shrinkage

• Other dimensions will shrink proportionately to the waist

Does it shrink or not?!

It does not. That second bullet point you mention is a standard disclaimer in almost all jeans and will have been C and P’ed in.  Maybe @AdamJ wants to take it out?
