Up the cabin today… found this fucker by the lake. I wasn’t touching it, but my youngest had now problem. He wanted to take it home as a pet.
Turns out it is the caterpillar of the Goat Moth. Fairly rare this far north. The English translation of its Norwegian name is “killer of trees”.

My buddy relocated to Lisbon, Portugal a year ago. Got to meet up with him and his family today in Cascais, a seaside town about 30 minutes from Lisbon. Our families had the best time hanging out at a park with wild roosters, visiting the Santa Marta lighthouse, swimming in the sea/river and chilling on what might be the smallest beach. Sad our holiday ends tomorrow, but it’s been a wonderful trip.

Don't know much about guns. This one doesn't look like made for hunting, rather for killing people.
Can't really see the fun.
Running ranges this week. Lots of barricade drills (pictured), some CQB practice, a little bit of night fighting coming up this evening. Fun times all around.
