Thanks a ton, @Jett129
@endo That is an understatement. You did the „Traveller who takes photos“ really well
Makes me look forward to my stay in Leipzig even more! I’ll be in town in two weeks for the OT World, one of, if not the most important fair for orthopedics, medical technology etc.
Any recommendations on how to spend the evenings?

@steelworker I am. Our farm is in Mid-Missouri while I live with my wife and kids in SW Missouri. The farm has been in our family since 1903 and I’m grateful for that.

Sunset in Pineville, N.C. tonight.

Thanks to all of you for the kind feedback. Glad you like those shots!!
Chicago was really special. I don’t think I’ve been to another city where there were so many „picture worthy“ situations at every corner and at any time. This city is full of character, personalities, heterogeneity..Also, did you know (I didn’t, before I visited the Chicago History Museum:
The first ever skyscraper was built in Chicago (Home Insurance Center in 1885, it had a whopping 10 floors and people where afraid of the height).
The first ever birth control pill „Enovid“ was introduced to market by Chicago based G. D. Searle and Company in 1955.
In December 1942, the first ever self-sustaining nuclear chain reaction was observed by a group of scientists led by Italian physicist Enrico Fermi in „Chicago Pile-1“. It basically was the proof that an atomic bomb was actually possible. I don’t have to tell you what happened three years later to the country where our favorite jeans come from.
Im no history nerd by any means, but visiting at least 1 museum is a must for me, whenever I’m visiting a new city.
