thanks @henry_david, I appreciate it! The artist is absolutely nailing his brief. Was able to see him drawing the Hydra next to the elbow "live" to fill that gap we created after Poseidon and Aphrodite got shrunk down and put in place, and it was fun to collaborate more closely on the design on that one in particular. A few gaps to fill, but almost there.
Wife thought it was a bit of a shock to have me come home with a full sleeve; "I suppose it's the difference between being a 'person with tattoos' and a 'tattooed person'".
Must go apply some more Hustle Butter…

Yes!! Gunning to be more of a tattooed person/heavily tattooed person personally. I think a back piece is sorta the thing to bridge the gap. When's the next session, @EdH?

I've got the bug too. There's a shitty old tribal done waaay too small (was my first tat and it matched my modest ambitions - and budget - at the time) on one of my pecs which is begging for a cover up. I'm also looking at some of Alex Grey's work (the artist that does Tool's album art - https://www.alexgrey.com/) and thinking of finding someone who does good geometric pattern work…

First one I got about two years ago in Jerusalem. The motives are ancient coptic. Tattoos play a significant role in the history of the coptic church. It was done by Wassim Razzouk, who's family is doing these tattoos for more than 700 years. All motives are at least 500 years old. I'm not a copt, but my christian (lutheran) faith plays an important role in my life. Now, that I'm an old fart, I thought it's a good (and stylish) way to embody (?) it.

Haven't posted my own here. Figured since these were finished up recently might as well post now. Kari Barbi worked on my upper left arm over twenty years ago. Didn't really plan to do the forearms back then, but of course that changed

@endo Absolutely loving your pieces, really dig the simple and clear designs.
@Bums_Fan Excellent sleeves. As you might expect if you go back a page or 2, I'm a little biased towards the Poseidon arm in particular.
@LewisStonehouse I like it - it complements the other work on that arm a lot. Did you plan on getting it done before you went, or was it a spur of the moment thing while looking through flash?
