Took a shot on my first IH type III. I was worried about the color from the online photos, but I love the color in person. I also love the fit and feel-this is the most pliable heavy duck I have worn.  Every new piece I buy leads me to the next item to covet!

Maybe my favourite type III. Looks great. And the addiction is real btw [emoji1]

I received the IH-2526J in size small today. It's a very nice jacket! It's my first real jacket. The material is really nice and I think the duck goes fantastic with jeans (in the pic it's IH-888S-SLB).

However I'm not sure if I am too tall for it. Does it fit me? It feels way too short but maybe I just need to get used to it (and buy shorter tees to go along with it?).

          | Model | Material | Weight | Type | Length IN for small | Length CM for small |
          | IH-2526J | Duck | 17oz | Modified Type III | 22.3 | 56.6 |
          | IHJ-507-SLB | Denim | 16oz | Type II | 22.8 | 57.9 |
          | IH-526J-22 | Denim | 22oz | Type III | 23.4 | 59.4 |
          | IH-526PJ | Denim | 21oz | Modified Type III | 23.7 | 60.2 |
          | IH-526J-142 | Denim | 14oz | Modified Type III | 23.7 | 60.2 |
          | IH-526L | Left-Hand Twill Denim | 19oz | Modified Type III | 25.0 | 63.5 |

Did I size wrong? This is a small and maybe I could get away with a medium, that would give a tad more length to the body and arms. Though there is plenty of space in the chest/waist/opening already.

This is all personal opinion, but I think type III’s can definitely be worn like that. It will look fantastic with shorter tees, or tucked tee’s with a nice belt.

As for the comfort, the duck is pretty gnarly when new, but softens nicely, somit could just be the fabric. However, if it is tight in the shoulders, armholes or across the chest, it is too small.

Looks a great fit. Seems to be room in the chest for a shirt as well as a tee at least.

Just gotta tuck in the shirt and it looks ace. Since owning the Sherpa lined type 3, I’ve been tucking in to get that look. Haven’t minded it at all.

Thanks for the comments everyone. I'm loving it! The duck looks so good with jeans. I'd definitely recommend this. I find it does work well with my 888s, can't comment how well it would go with lower rise jeans.

Like everyone else said, it’s all personal preference. For me it would be a bit short. I like the longer fit but that’s just me. I think it looks like it fits you everywhere else great, so I’d you don’t mind the length, keep rocking it!

You cannot imagine how much i would like to get that jacket in a longer version like the 526L or 526Lod, and i am sure i'm not the only one, something with 65-66cm in length for a size L, it would be just perfect for people who never tucked things in their jeans, any chance a longer version could see the daylight in the future ?

Think it looks great. Maybe too big over a tee but more flexible with a little room to layer.

Thanks @neph93 , agreed… a tad big over the shoulder but it’s so damn nice to wear! Either more push-ups for me, or just go with the ‘oversized’ look all the kids these days are going with!?
                                      Probably the former…. I’m nearly 50!

@AdamJ Thx for the heads up, unfortunately for this piece im going Large instead of my usual medium. Looks like these are running slightly smaller than normal. My money will be ready to pounce as soon as an opening appears.
