IH-526Jod - Overdyed Type III

@neph93 This is neither the 526J-22OD or the 526J-19L as I believe the 19L is modified and has lower pockets. The 22oz is tagged as such and this one isn’t. This has the shorter sleeves of the earliest run of these jackets as this thread states also.

This confusion is possibly my fault. I read your post as though this was a new jacket @twism_23 . But you’re saying it is an original IH-526j-od? They stopped being made a few years ago so that is a lucky find.

I’m probably turning everyone around but the IH-526j-od had no hand warmers. It was the OD’ed version of the original traditional 21oz type III.

@neph93 easily done seeing how I wrote my original post. I was lucky to find it on eBay for $150.00. Yes an original 526J-OD. The original owner stated he bought the jacket years ago but never wore it. I read the thread on here and was concerned the sleeves may be too short but figured it was worth the risk. I have a 526L non OD but find it too long for my torso. I find myself looking for the pockets on this one but I’m sure I’ll get used to it.

Necrobumping, cause of this score I got from Marrkt. It stated it was in good shape in the ad, but this is brand new basically. Fits well, except for the sleeve opening which is tight. Kind of had to squeeze my hand through. Unbuttoned it’s fine though.
