Catch of the day [Fishing]

Boy @Giles, this lure really can catch fish!
My nephew and I caught 5 bass, 1 perch, 1 bluegill and 1 northern.
Temps have been in the upper 90’s for the last week so it was really hard to find the fish and they were deep in search of cool water.

Got out early on Lake Waconia today before it got nuts (it got nuts anyhow). Caught a good number of fish and my first walleye of the year.
Glad to get back on the water.

@jordanscollected those are excellent cooked in a smoker stuffed with crab meat. Those are nice sized fish.

Thanks guys! I’m taking my nephew on Tuesday to Waconia again. Hopefully more pics to come.
@Filthy all catch and release today, but that walleye would have been great as you suggested.

Caught a boatload today. A big storm rolled through and the topwater action was poppin. 40 bass, 6 northern and 2 pumpkin seeds in 5 hours. We took cover from the storm for a bit under a rich guys boat slip.

Dont be. I've probably done 150 hours Bass fishing (Sea Bass) so far this year, and have had 2 fish :o

That's actually quite small for Morocco…..The rod I had bought for the trip is a "Big Tuna 73 - Japan Special", it will cope with BFT to 200kgs....Now, of course, I won't be able to, but that's not really the point
