Wouldn't happen with either of ours. They'll just about put up with a stroke, but no more than that…..
I just would have to get to know your cat. I spent 3 years getting Luna to trust me and now she sits on my lap and goes to sleep. She used to hide from me.

You know this whole past year my wife was complaining that the house was staying too clean, she had far too much alone time, and there weren’t enough things to do and take care of. That working from home while having two kids there as well (one in remote kindergarten) was just completely…underwhelming. So she adopted a cat:

Pickles is trying desperately to talk me out of going to work today. This is one of the rare jobs where I am close to home. I can pet her for 4 more minutes.

What a sweetheart, @Giles. I got called back into the office for the time-being so WFH is paused for me. Thus, days spent petting my cats and laughing at how stupid they can be? Also on pause

I love cats. This is Tacocat, but we call him Sweet Pete.
he was small so tacocat turned into taquito, which rhymes with sweetpito (like little sweet potato for no reason at all), which got altered to Sweet Pete.

Ha! Love the nickname explanation. Our cat (Gemma) is called 'Slim Jim' or 'Jim Jam' cause we began to caller her 'Gem' or 'Gemmers' as short for Gemma.
Anyway… Beautiful lil kitty, @jordanscollected. Love it when they flop over like that
