@neph93 Thanks. Yes, I went up a size in these and gave them a hot soak. They do have good room in the thighs.
With all due respect you look like you’re solidly built, as am I, and it has kept me away from the 777 as sizing up is normally something I stay away from. Consider me inspired. Thank you.

Hi all, just received mine. I think it looks good? But man it was stiff and hard to put on. Putting it on made me sweat more than squatting 4 sets 8 295lbs. Do these look right to you. I have bigger quads so knee and thigh areas felt pretty tight. Also waist feel just right while bending and sitting was tough. It should soften up right? Or should I go with a different cut or size?

They look very good to me. I’ve seen them worn a hell of a lot tighter than that. Hell, I’ve worn them a lot tighter than that.
I think a lot of folks feel that the XHS is tighter than it actually is because it is so unforgivong at first. The waist and thighs feel tighter because you notice them more than with lighter, softer denim.
They will soften with wear for sure, but it will take a while, so be prepared to «feel» them for a few weeks/months.
You should also know that they will shrink a bit with the first wash, unless you give them a good soak first. You shouldn’t worry though as they will stretch right out to where they are now, if not a little bigger.
