Been searching for a varsity jacket. The amazing IH/Simmons Bilt sample @Giles has for sale was too big for me. @den1mhead has a great looking Toyo surfer varsity jacket but that would have been too small. Sourcing an IHW-11 from Japan would have been cool but I prioritised an IH N1 and Mountain Parka, which I think are two much more useable pieces of outerwear for UK coastal climate. Then though found this vintage Dehen online from a seller in Ukraine with too many items to provide measurements, so took a gamble on £80 with pictures that could have been a jacket in not such good condition… this jacket arrived today and the fit is just right. The big chenille back patch is pretty good and not many Dehen's have the two tone leather sleeve, which is soft and has a good weight. Not an IHW-11 alas but a vintage Dehen in like new condition that is super unique. I emailed Dehen to see if they know when it was made. Pretty pleased with what feels like a lucky bit of vintage online shopping. Will be great for to and from workouts.
