sorry to jump in, but shades/glass frames have all necessary sizing info printed in the temples. (if old frames, might not be visible)

there is eye/lens size (width) and nose bridge size. marked usually like 48-18. and you find also temple lenght there, usually between 120-150

Only thing I measure is lens height. That is not marked.
