That will be some great winter reading and research. thanks for forwarding @Giles. My nephew fell in love with fishing this past summer and it's all he thinks about all day. I need to stay fresh and try new things or he will be taking me fishing before i know it. I appreciate the motivation.

It is used in US for Bass.  Developed in Japan for really finicky fish in hard fished waters….

Had to go to the dump and I passed the (well stopped, actually) fort with the moat that P and I scoped last weekend.

Caught a micro pike to a Mepps.....

Those pike are called “Hammer Handles” in the U.S. still better than getting skunked.

I saw your other post in Xmas traditions. Is that a Stradic? I have 2 and they the best reel I’ve ever used. It makes me proud that a pro also uses them.

Well spotted.  It is a Stradic 1000.  I have a Stradic 3000 for FW and another Stradic 3000 for SW.  Love them….
