Random Rants

@goosehd Same here. I saw my first frozen precip this afternoon. My first Midwest winter is underway. Heeeeere we go.
-
@FairlyVague At least we don’t have it as bad as @neph93 where winter last’s 11 months and 3 weeks… give or take a week...:D

Yeah but it’s a dry heat… [emoji1]
Seriously though, the mid-western winters are damn cold even by my standards. Inland climates are evil.
What makes it tough up here isn’t so much the temperature but the latitude, the wind and the constant low pressure/high pressure exchanges.

Yeah, inland climates are brutal. It's only supposed to get up to 67F/20C here tomorrow.
I might have to wear socks.

Going over old shit, lots of our old photos are gone. Maybe for whatever and whoever’s left, we could create a random thread where OG’s could repost old photos they still have somewhere somehow…photobucket sucked...
Edit: Definitely not a relevant rant, with so much going on, just thinking out loud. My old phone (ironically pictured here on its first day in 2014) broke and I lost a lot of photos, so I was going back and looking for posterity.

Clearly I’m talking about latitudes where people of good sense, intellectual means and physical apptitude live. You’re talking about Texas. On another note, lovely to see you here, darling, even without socks [emoji8]

Absolutely a relevant rant and a well made point. I like the idea as a partial solution to a sad and aggravating problem. There aren’t that many old timers left but we could try and make a mailing list to get in touch with more.

Exactly. It's nice to know someone understands my pain.

Lucky bastard.
I Just saw this reply Reuben. I had to throw the candy away. I musta ate 15 bucks worth.
I think I met you were lucky not to have cover-kids knocking down your door all night. But now you mention it win/win with $15 of candy in the locker
Sorry I'm like Halloween Grinch. I love the spooky season thing but that kids knocking on doors drives me nuts.

They do have the most amazing sense of humour… It felt like a hidden camea set-up when I just picked up a different parcel at the PO... Upon looking at my work addy, the lady starts frowning, going "Hmmmm, where do I know that name from..."
MAYBE IT'S FROM THE GUY WHOSE PACKAGE YOU RETURNED WITHOUT REASON AND THEN DIDN'T DELIVER THIS MORNING FOR NO REASON.
She then remembered what had happened to it, but couldn't tell me why. She promised it would be delivered tomorrow.
And it's a GOD DANG rant only cause I wouldn't fuss it was a package for me, but this summat for a forum member
