      Hey Everyone,

I've been a member for a bit, but never introduced myself. I'm Pete, originally from Providence, Rhode Island. Now living in Lafayette, Colorado.

I've got a handful of IH gear. Currently breaking in a pair of 777-xhsib's which are easily one of my favorite pairs of jeans ever.

Thanks for the intro @pacreamer Always nice to know a little more about folks.

@jayaytee that is quite the poetic picture. Looks very familiar  😉

          Hi everyone,
I'm Keith. Just got my first pair of IH's yesterday thanks to Graham for helping me out. Unfortunately, they've gone up the birthday chute until next week so no comment on them yet.

I do however have a question that must have been asked before. Why is a "W" stitched in to the jeans?

Well, they have had a fair bit of weekend wear for a few weeks.
Whilst they are comfy to walk about in they are stil tight when bending to put socks on etc' especially tops of thighs and behind the knee.
Will persistance win the day or will they ever soften up?

I’m about 60 days of wear into the tapered version. They had an initial hot soak with agitation to get the shrinkage out. They soften beautifully and loosen up very well. But you have to use them. Wear them like you hate them and it will happen.

Sure, to start with. That is relative though… snug waist and top block certainly. Tight in the thigh.

Absolutely. You will always get an inch in the waist, and the hips and thighs have softened a lot. As I said initially, very comfortable now.

Hi! My name's Greg. I'm a new member but long time lurker of the IH forums. I live in Manchester, UK with my partner and our 3 daughters. I've got a few IH shirts now the most recent purchase being the IHSH-247-RED but I pretty much live in my 177 CPO right now as it's great for layering and the days (and nights) are getting pretty cold here. I'm looking forward to sharing some pics and talking to some fellow denimheads! You guys seem to have a really cool community vibe going on here.

I love the 177!  It just started cooling down enough in California for me to start wearing it again.

                                      Blanket-line all the things!!!

                                            Welcome to the forum.

For such a specific request I recommend you send an email to shop@ironheart.co.uk.

The staff at IHUK are members here and often contribute, but the customer service guys who will measure will see your request much quicker there.
