I always wanted a Gingko tree until I smelled the fruit from one.
When we were doing some landscaping, I had mentioned my want of a Gingko tree, but couldn’t stand the smell of the fruit. It was suggested I try a Katsura tree, which in the fall gives a faint caramel smell.
We did and are very happy with the results.

Wonderful tree the Katsura, like it when the leaves become red… but it is really only the female Ginkgo trees that have the awful fruits

@Chap Hope all is well! I did not want to take the chance with a Gingko being female and finding out only too late, as I was under the impression that the trees were difficult to sex until they were more mature.
I love the shape of the Gingko leave and still think about putting a tree in somewhere (often near my neighbours yard).

I did a little redecorating and cleaning for the new year. I have way too much shit and it makes me feel anxious. But I love all the marketing and artwork a lot so I feel the need to have art everywhere.
I took down all the iron heart clothes tags I have been collecting on the door so I would have more room for more posters.

I know how you feel about owning too much and a purge makes me feel great. I like your spot. It is a lot of art but it works and is really cohesive.
