What's your favorite Beer?

I've come to the conclusion, my general lack of enthusiasm for Citra has been due to the inability of many brewers to do the hop justice. That's not that surprising, I've read it's tricky to work with. Having had a few Citra brews from Equilibrium, I fully understand their popularity. They know what they're fecking doing with that tricky fecker. Citra/Mosaic/Fantastic…..

Another local brew( Component Brewing ). This crew took over the space Eagle Park vacated, when they outgrew it, about 2 years ago. Nothing to rave about. But, a solid effort…..

For a number of reasons, I'll be taking a beer break, as of Monday. I did try to save some good ones for last, though. At least, I had hoped they were good ones. All are single hop IPAs. Here we go…..

I've read, you either love Nelson, or you don't. I love Nelson.....

Vic(toria's) Secret. The hop, not the lingerie. For those times when you prefer less Aussie pine than you get from Galaxy. Which, in my case, is most of the time…..

Equilibrium. Citra. I've expressed my feelings, before. I won't repeat myself…..

I feel like if I have any chance at ever liking any kind of IPA,then a Milkshake IPA might be the one. Does having the milk sugars effect the bitterness level? Are they significantly less bitter than traditional IPAs?

Jett: most (NE)IPAs these days aren't bitter at all… Just don't buy a "Westcoast classic" kinda style and you'll be good... Buy anything with lactose and it'll definitely be a tad sweeter...

I had a YUGE night with me mate and partner... With a lovely bit of snooker for a background, we cracked open some excellent bottles of wine... Then we had the idea to open a Tilquin Pinot Gris (batch 1)... What a truly phenomenal beer that is!.. Buy it if you come across it!.. (Btw I'm sure batch 2 is just as excellent...)
