I had one of these and sold it on because I was always fussing with the placket where it stretched across my belly and at the opening when seated. It fit fine, but made for a strange drape if sized trim the way I like my shirts. I think with a bigger size I may have been happier.

I did the same, though for essentially the opposite reason. Mine was a bit large, and because of the stretchiness, it just seemed to sag and look kinda shapeless. Maybe a size smaller would've worked better for me.

The Waffle has landed and I couldn't be happier with it.
Right outta the gate it is just so soft.After wearing my new IHSH-62-IND for the last two weeks straight.(Im just following the instructions telling me to wear it as long as possible before washing it.) This IHSH-96 is like wearing tissue paper by comparison.
These pics do no justice to this Blue.This shirt…outside in direct sun--Sings!
There is epic engineering going on with all of these clothes gentlemen. Its just all so "Substantial" and I mean that with the very best of intentions.

I'm too wearing mine today and was just enjoying my coffee outside so couldn't resist attempting some pics to help showcase your point as to how the fabric reacts in the sun. The fit, contrast, texture and comfort are all A1!

@dinobarnesberlin congrats on the score, this is one shirt that I’ve lusted after for years but still haven’t picked up, mainly because I much prefer westerns to work shirts. But this fabric is glorious, as the pics that @GC illustrate so well.

but I agree that the shirt looks brilliant.It’s funny how different this waffle is compared to the 172….
