WHAT ARE YOU DOING TODAY (PICS)

We’ve wrapped up our oven-roofing project by laying 50-year old repurposed tiles on the hollowed palm trunks. The tiles have a mortar bed made of mud, cow dung and straw; all three materials abundant at the ranch!
You can see the mortar, yellowish, at the bottom end of each tile in the following pic.
Inside view…
…now, everyone is saying we need to build a new oven to match the roof...

Apologies for the flipped pics again.

Warhol exhibit at The Art Institute. -
Love me some Warhol!
Our museum held a vintage prints exhibit last fall and numerous pieces of Andy’s were there. I only took pics of his Campbell’s but the there were also his flowers and Elvis lithos.
Next time we drive to visit my bro in WV, we are going to see his museum in Pitt.

Cheers @den1mhead … yes it‘s very impressive, almost unreal.... and the marine life, diving around the atoll is like diving in an aquarium with the most colourful fish one can imagine
