We're two weeks into the final season of Game of Thrones and no one has mentioned anything on this board. Maybe the only place on the internet that is radio silent on the show.
-
@BloodnThunder I've been watching the latest episode this eve.. hoping some serious shit is gonna go down in the coming weeks!

I think ep.3 will meet that need.

I am so hyped for this season.
Episode 3 is going to be insane. Director by the guy who did the battle of the bastards.
Can’t wait

Also agree. A ton happened in episode one in terms of bringing characters together and revealing information to certain characters. Episode two, didn't have near as much legitimate happenings and felt kind of like this farewell tour for a number of characters. Which makes sense because there is a very good chance there will be a whole lot of death in episode 3.

Lot of people saying episode 2 was a filler. Maybe it was but I still enjoyed it.
I don’t think there will be anymore sitting around a fire moments as the season progresses. So I was kinda cool with it all being done in one episode.Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I agree. I kind of felt like it was a filler but I think I also understand why they did it. I think it was the last hurrah for a lot of characters and fully expect the rest of the season to be nothing but shit hitting the fan.

The second episode was definitely not filler imho. It’s a respectful and fond goodbye to most of the beloved characters in the show, and I appreciated it. I don’t understand the people commenting on Facebook about nobody dying yet. Literally every character I care about is at Winterfell right now, and most of them are about to die, at least one of them likely at the hands of another. Are people really that anxious to see that happen? Guaranteed these same people will be on Facebook Monday bitching about their favorite characters dying. I know it has to happen but I’m not looking forward to it lol.

…and I just now read this article, which perfectly sums up why I loved this episode:

I loved episode two also. Haters gonna hate no matter what. I’m just along for the ride with the show, at this point.
I am still a little butt-hurt that George RR Martin passed off writing an end to the saga. I loved the books, and I would have appreciated a written conclusion, as the characters were so much fuller and richer in print.

No spoilers, just speculation.

Wait, is this official? He’s not finishing the book?

He's said he will finish the books (pinkie swear! For reals!). And he claims he's making progress and might finish book six this year (pinkie swear! For reals! This time I'm not kidding!).
But no, he's never going to finish.

Is anyone ready to talk about Game of thrones episode 3 yet!? Just watched it!!
