I was going to try and hold out on washing it till I pass it on. Depending on how work goes it might need a couple to get it clean enough to pass it on…

So today the jacket went with us to pick up a millstone to go into the path we are building.
pretty big and heavy old thing.
I love going to these reclamation yards as there all kinds of stuff to look at
There happened to be a renowned cafe nearby called The Super Sausage Cafe so stopped there for a cuppa and breakfast
We have to wait for a crane to get the stone where we need it in the garden. So will get some more pics when we actually lay it.

haha I knew you would like it.

Jacket working hard today
The path we are laying is coming along.

So we managed to get millstone in on Thursday. It was a lot of effort. We could only get the it craned to the top of the garden so had to then move it on a pump truck and boards down the hill! Which was tricky seeing as it weighed 600kg

So I went for a look inside the castle today.
It's hard to actually make it out from the outside because of the scaffolding but it's a proper castle I promise
We are actually going to be laying york stone inside this in a few weeks. Which is going to be pretty cool and should hopefully raise our profile as a business.
that's the ceiling above the pool area. All oak.
This is the cellar which we will also be laying York stone in.
and a few shots of the outside

I have been wearing the jacket everyday and it's been taking a beating. I am hoping that under all the dust and dirt is some actual fading!!
How much longer have I got this for @neph93 ?

Ok mate.
I will finish the week off in it and get it washed this weekend.

So last day for me in this beauty.
Worked out pretty well as I started the path on my first day in this jacket and today on my last we finished it.
We used a brush in resin for the pointing, which is a god send as doing it the traditional way takes a long time!!
So if you are doing any DIY involving slabs check it out. We use it whenever we can and believe it's as strong if not stronger than cement. The other bonus is you put it in with water so can be done in the rain. Which in the UK comes in handy.Because it's Friday and a bank holiday this weekend we knocked off early. So I took the jacket and the dog for a walk
I will be putting the jacket into a hot wash tonight so once it's dry I will post some pics of it's condition.

Great photos and the path looks fantastic. Owner is going to enjoy a nice stroll in all weathers now through that nice garden!
